Marcia Hansen (Business Office Manager) – Marcia is an amazing asset to our team. She has so many connections with veterans and their family members that many do not see. Here are some fun facts about Marcia:
I’m from the Midwest. I was born in Kansas and grew up in Nebraska and South Dakota. I have 3 kids aged 25, 14, and 11. My eldest is mistaken for my brother more often than I think he finds funny đ but I love it!! I could eat crunchy tacos every day of my life and never get tired of it đŽđŽI love real thunderstorms, the ones that shake the ground, and the way the air always smells clean after the rain. I love being outside in nature, bare feet on the grass, hugging trees, sitting on the shore of any body of water, until it snows. I really dislike being cold and I really really dislike snow. I love all living things. I won’t kill anything not even a spider. I will pick them up and take them outside. I will also hold and/or touch pretty much anything, but I will not touch or pick up a fish, because just ewwy!
Josie Slater, CNA – Josie is one of our CNAs on bravo! She loves to play pickleball and any competitive sport! Her least favorite thing to do is to stay home and watch a movie! She could live off BBQ mac n cheese from noodles and company! She loves making her own dr pepper fountain drink from Maverick! She is fluent in Portuguese and lived in Brazil for a year and a half! Her favorite holiday is the 4th of July because of the fireworks! She is an amazing CNA, and her residents and coworkers love having her on the team!
